"Typical Motel 6 room. Pretty austere room. Nothing special. The room was clean and pretty well maintained, though noisy at night. We were put in the room closest to the freeway so we got road racket all night. The door did not seal seal in the door frame so it would rattle whenever another room door closed. "Upon arrival, the place looked shoddy, but they were in the middle of painting it so I kept an open mind. The owner was very kind and hospitable, and even upgraded me to a king size bed. The room itself was clean, updated and comfortable. The only downfall was the shuttered window that let the outside lights shine right through at night. I suggested that blackout curtains be put behind them. Other than that, the motel was simple and clean. Great access to the freeway, also."
