"Great hotel in a fantastic location with wonderful views of the valley and griffon vultures circling above the cliffs opposite. No restaurant meals on Wednesday as the chef has a day off but the bar menu was a fine alternative. It's a bit tricky to reach the hotel as the village's roads a very narrow and steep but it's not a problem with a little care."

"This was a convenient functional stop for a Bilbao ferry the next morning. (Approx 2hrs) The guesthouse adjacent to the bar/cafe was warm and clean, well kept no-frills accommodation and served the purpose. There’s an ample parking area next to the bar & guesthouse when you turn off the main road, although it is not private. "Lovely hotel. Not sure it warrants four stars, but very friendly and clean. One thing, the windows open outwards with the opening starting only 6 inches from the floor on the third floor with a nothing to stop someone falling out. I have a photo but cant upload. Sorry."

"Very good food and drink at very reasonable price. Used mostly by locals and very busy at times and good atmosphere, if you don’t speak Spanish have translate on phone. There is nothing really within walking distance as it’s in an industrial area but a large car repair and tyres within 1/4 mile."
