"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...

"What more could you ask for than a property where the supermarket (and many eateries) are around the corner and the bus stop is opposite the front door. Rayrigg is perfectly located, with a bus every 20 mins to take you to the railway station (about a 10 minute walk) or to other towns in the District. "The property was lovely with well furnished. Sadly the hot water in the shower wasn’t working despite reporting it after the first day. Cold showers aren’t very nice. When paying top price for accommodation the hot water should a given, essential part of the service. Plus the cleaners were knocking on the door before the allotted 10am check out!!"

"The property was absolutely freezing. It felt like the heating hadn't been on for ages and after we switched it on it never really got to a suitable temperature. We have a small child so travel with a thermometer and after the heating had been on for forty minutes the temperature in the front bedroom was only 7°C. Terrible night's sleep due to the temperature. Also dirty in places."

"Our room was nice. We had a terrace but when you sit down, all you can see is a cream wall ( you have to stand up for the view). The hotel should take a foot or two from the wall and install railings. Complimentary wine was undrinkable. No shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom which I expected for the price ( £730.20 with parking). Hotel needs a power wash as it look rather tatty. Enjoyed breakfast but though a £5 additional charge for eggs Benedict/ eggs Florentine. Great location."

"Our room was on the ground floor so there were about 4/5 flights of stairs to get to the reception/dining area, which was not a problem, but there needs to be a warning in the hotel write up, in case someone is infirm or has a leg or back problem. Otherwise, everything was clean, well supplied, comfortable, with stunning panoramic views of the beautiful Lake Windomere. The restaurant food is a little on the expensive side but really good. The continental breakfast was ample, so not really any need to order anything cooked. Pool/steam room/sauna and spa was excellent, and all of the staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. All in all, a fabulous few days well spent in a very lovely hotel and County. We'll be back."
