"Over all this hotel suited my needs....my mobility is hampered after suffering a stroke...so my room allocation was the 18th floor...be prepared to speak fluent languages but not english....when you check in....then be prepared too get a taxi too another hotel 10 minutes away...why they don't issue the key's at the tarik as they used too is a complete mystery...then there's the 9 digit code you have to tap into your door handle...take some one small with you...it'll help."

"Honestly when I read the reviews about this place after my husband booked, I was very sceptical. People said it was dirty, had cockroaches, no hot water. None of this was true. About the hot water, you must realize that water heaters in Europe are half the size of North American ones. We had plenty of hot water. The only thing we didn't like are the beds are a little hard but it was the same at the previous place we stayed. We made do. Also tile floors are always cold which I'm not fond of but...

"The apartment was spacious, 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom and one shower room. Basic kitchen facilities but suited us as we didn’t cook much there. Fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, cooker and toaster. The area around the pool is very clean and pretty. The pool is nice and deep in parts. The location is 5 minutes by taxi to the beautiful town of Alvor, 10 minutes to Praia da Rocha. The Intermarché supermarket is a few minutes across the road from the apartments. The pool bar has reasonable prices...

Unfortunately the fridge barely worked (freezer worked), microwave is a fire hazard, toaster is cracked, washing machine had a button stuck and never worked and the wifi barely worked. "Extremely musty stench and needed to be aired out. There is also ants in the kitchen area. We kept the windows open and heard the beautiful birds and diesel car engines all night long. Inexpensive but did not look like the picture. Would not recommend for longer than one night. The area of vila nova de milfontes is beautiful and the location outstanding. "
