"The hotel itself is beautiful and within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff on reception were especially friendly and helpful and arranged restaurant reservations for us and checked ahead with all these restaurants to make sure they catered for gluten free. The restaurant within the hotel is definitely worth a visit, the tasting menu was absolutely stunning and the staff again were so friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. "Went along for the annual Carnivale. Hotel was located right on the edge of the route so you could walk out and watch the parade. Staff were great. Able to assist with every request even my desperate need for a strong coffee the night after the festival. Only 10 minutes walk from the train station and two minutes to the beach. Continental breakfast was also delicious and a lot to choose from. "

"Room very clean but hot as aircpn did not work and shutter would not raise up. Service at reception and breakfast friendly and efficient. It was a little loud as you could hear all ghe rooms around you so we were glad it was only a stopover hotel for ys but perfect for our needs. "

"Need to make the elevator less scary.... I did not use it after the first time , I was on the 5th floor and the elevator dropped 10-12 inches at the top. Decided to use all 124 stairs instead."

"Excellent place to stay for Carnival. Would recommend trying to get an ocean view room for best place to watch the parade, though being down in the mix is ideal- the viewing from the hotel was a good option given it rained in the beginning. Staff was excellent and accommodating. Great place!!"
