"If you are into staying at an older hotel this is fine. The charm was totally there. Was disappointed to not have nightstands. Not able to plug in a phone anywhere near our bed. Using a CPAP machine in this room was very difficult and took some rearranging of furniture and extension cords. Location of hotel was fantastic. My sister’s room was smaller and set up totally different (and had night stands). So know what you are getting ahead of time if you are able. All in all a cute place. Great...

"My wife & I discussed it on the way home & can't find a reason we'd even want to try a different hotel. Great location for everything on River St, clean & comfortable rooms, all of the staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant is nice & has a good selection. My only mild complaint is the valet fee since there is no option for self parking, but that's pretty normal for downtown locations for many of the cities we've visited. They also make it super convenient by giving you a number to text...

"This is a very lovely hotel! Old, but well kept and I loved the charm of the old building. There are two parking garages very nearby which makes parking easy if you don’t want to use valet. It’s very central and it was so easy to walk to everything we wanted to do/see in Savannah. Our room was clean and nice. Because of the location (and I’m sure most hotels in this area have the same issue) it can be noisy from traffic and construction around the area. This would not stop me from staying here...
