"The full english breakfast was the nicest I have had in years. Staff are polite and helpful. Room looked exactly as it did in the picture, and was clean and quiet. The hotel provided shower soap also smelled amazing."

"A nice stay but a few things could’ve been improved. Food was lovely and staff were friendly. However they just don’t have enough staff so the service was really slow. The room wasn’t great for the money we paid either. It was overlooked a bit and next to the kitchen so outside was a bit scruffy. ..."

Quite tired. Mostly charity shops, estate agents and hairdressers. One charming little art gallery with a delightful owner who was very helpful. No pubs apart the The Bell which has gone from hotel to a pub with rooms! Very disappointing

Whilst we didn't actually visit Saxmundham town, we did have a very pleasant look around Southwold and Aldeburgh as well as Snape Maltings. Very pleasant part of Suffolk
