I was extremely pleased staying here. I got a text that I was able to check in way earlier than the listed check in time which we appreciated greatly! Bed is extremely comfy, the area has lots of restaurants and close to the beach which is what we went for. Will come back here.

Very clean, check in was very friendly and I asked if we could check in early, she said of course. My teenagers thought the room was awesome, walking to the beach was perfect

Great hotel for the price
Had a very nice stay at surf city inn. Room and bathroom were clean , Bed was very comfortable. BTW being next to pacific coast hwy the noise can be a bit too much but they have double Payne windows That reduced the noise considerably. Will stay and highly recommend. Also easy on wallet for the location.

Great motel!
This motel is a VERY nice basic motel. Curb appeal, not so great, but covered parking garage, and large rooms are great. Clean room, seems recently refreshed, paint, furniture, etc., comfortable beds, bathroom is good sized. Microwave and mini refrigerator included. Great for a stopover in Huntington Beach. Within walking distance to several restaurants, great coffee shop a couple doors down. Owner (I assume) is very nice and accommodating. Only downside was noise from Hwy.1. Earplugs were necessary for me.

NOT REALLY NEAR THE PIER
Our overnight stay worked out, but I felt mislead by the ad for this hotel. It said SEAL BEACH pier, which I thought was walking distance. It's a 7 min drive- about 3 1/2 mi away. It really is more like Huntington Beach, but guess the property line is right there. Hotel is clean, beds fine, free parking. Good free wi-fi and little fridge and microwave, so guess I shouldn't complain.

Great Location and Cool during Summer.
The room was amazingly clean, and even when the A/C off, it was nice an fresh. Keep in mind, No elevator! So walking upstairs 2 flies to get to your room is not bad l, unless you come in with lots of luggage. Great location, 5 min away from Huntington Pear and Main Street.
