Unfortunately they only had 1 English speaking employee on staff at the front desk during the day, and 1 at night, so every time we tried to communicate, that one person had to be called in to talk to us. Otherwise, their dinner buffet was exceptional, the room air conditioning worked well (important for the hot mid June days/nights), the location was good, and we received a free room upgrade...

"Lousy check in. Need to fight for a simple shower which I booked as special requests. Hotel looks nice for the lobby. Rooms are ok but older. Towels are fringed out. Everything is around 15 to 20 years old heavy used but well maintained. As money is the religion in China, is it same in this hotel. Hotel is prepaid and they want to have additional deposit of double hotel price. I really don't like this behaviour. Will not go again. There are better and nicer hotels in Hangzhou."

"학회 참석으로 인하여 4일간 머무르게 되었는데 가격에 비하여 호텔의 시설은 크게 나무랄 데가 없었으며, 학회 장소와 매우 근접하여 만족하였다. 물론 바로 근처에 관광지(서호)도 있어 산책하는데 더할나위없이 좋았다. 한 가지 아쉬운 것은 영어가 가능한 종업원이 적어 상당히 불편했다. 그 외 나머지는 불편없이 잘 지냈던 것 같다."
