First time here after many visits to Sheffield. It stands head and shoulders above some of the more popular and ‘trendy’ properties in the city. If the quality is consistent (and I will be back to check), this hotel will be a no-brainer when I book Sheffield for future trips, business and pleasure

I wouldn’t call it 4-star
The rooms are super cold as you enter. The staff took ages to attend to you. Nobody answered the phones for me to order room service, had to go all the way downstairs to reception and order for the food order to then be missing items. Breakfast was cold.

Lovely that they had chocolates with graduate hats on them in the foyer to welcome graduates and their families staying at the hotel for their graduation ceremony at the University of Sheffield - that was a really nice touch ! Room service was very good with a nice menu - food was tasty. Nice selection at breakfast - clean tidy rooms with really comfy beds with a firm mattress (which I really like) !

We stayed for two nights and the first there was an event downstairs, which could be heard a lot from one of the rooms. The breakfast was good, however it would be great to see more variety in the fruit and vegetables. The rooms overall were comfortable and clean.
