Miserable experience at this motel. I sent a message to the front desk days in advance that I would not be arriving until 2 AM. When we got there, they said they did not have the reservation because Expedia canceled it. I showed them that my reservation was active on the Expedia app; that it was not cancelled. They kept insisting that it was canceled and would only allow me to stay there if I paid for the rooms again. I reluctantly did so because it was so late. I reserved 2 rooms with 2 beds. Only one of the rooms had 2 beds. The other had 1 bed and a recliner. As a result, I slept in a dirty recliner that leaned to one side. When I discussed my issue with the manager in the morning, he again blamed Expedia and told me to take it up with them. Expedia refunded me, but explained that motels will routinely mark people as no shows if they don’t show by midnight and cancel the reservation. The motel denied that it happened.
