For the amount of money spent for two nights is absurd. The room smelled and there was no hot water while taking a shower. No microwave and just all around a disappointment. I won't ever go back!

The front desk staff was polite and professional. They were quite helpful. The casino staff was a different story. With very few exceptions, the card dealers were rude and not pleasant at all. I played for several hours a day, over a 3 day visit, and most of the dealers were not conversational, except with each other. The players seemed to be a bother to them. Most of them have been dealing at this casino for 20 years or more and it seemed as if they were burned out. The customer has to be number one and we were certainly not treated that way. I will most likely not return to the Horseshoe.

Clean hotel with fairly up-to-date rooms. Beautiful river view. Do not come here for non-smoking casino services. The only smoke-free option is a third floor slot machine room that is approximately 12'x25'. The slots in this section are mostly old and the minimum bet multiplier is $0.05... So you get about 10 pulls for $20. If you want more slot machine options where the air isn't BURNING your eyes - the smoke isn't too bad during the early afternoon.

The room was dirty, there were no towels when I checked in. The ice bucket had standing water. The staff was not great including the bar staff, slow and not friendly. I would never stay here again. The parking garage smelled of urine and was very dirty.

Absolutely loved the soaking tub! Super comfortable bed. Would have been nice to have a microwave to reheat leftovers I purchased on the casino property. Overall great stay.

Poor service. Almost every employees acts like they hate working there. Dirty rooms, sheets smelled like vomit. Waited 6 hrs for them to resolve. No apology. Non-smoking room smelled like smoke & weed. Tub and sink didn't drain.
