"On our 10 days trip on Sardinia,this was definitely the best stay. Giuseppe and his wife Jessica were the best hosts. Nothing seemed to be a problem for them. Giuseppe also organized great dinner for us in restaurant which we would not find on our own. The room itself was perfect. Clean and spacious with all amenities you could need. Cold water and juice in the fridge,coffee in the morning. The jacuzzi was just great. There is also a pool outside which you can enjoy in a very well maintained...

"One night stop over on a whistle-stop tour around Sardinia for seven days. Lovely, well kept, tranquil hotel in a very quiet spot in the village. "A very relaxing resort with beautiful grounds and friendly staff. It has great pools and a dedicated beach. It has a lot of free parking but on our, very late, arrival it took us a while to find a space due to some sort of event. It is only 5 minutes drive from a little town that has some great restaurants. We also enjoyed walking through the forest parallel to beach - shade and sea breezes."

Worst night sleep ever!! Don’t recommend in summer

"Room was uncomfortably hot. Air con terminal stopped pumping out cold air about 3am and the room became unbearably hot. There was nobody to be found in the hotel and my family of four had to stand outside multiple times in the dark to get some air. We managed to get the kids back to sleep after several hours by placing wet towels on their back. We wanted to complain at check out but there was still nobody to be seen!! A single person who was in the restaurant just told us to leave our key at the front desk and leave. The rooms / bathroom also smelled pretty musty. Not pleasant. If it’s winter and you are not travelling as a family I’m sure this place would do for a night or two but I would never consider this place again with my family."

"L'Abete is a lovely, quiet place. Manager Marco was superb, really a fine, nice person who make me feel welcome and who wanted to be as helpful as he could. I was without a car, and L'Abete is a quarter to a half mile away from the nearest good restaurants and sites. But it was a nice stay; and even better if you want some quiet rest time!"
