"Really comfortable hotel , only stayed one night . A great nights sleep . All the staff without exception were friendly, helpful and could not do enough for us. Breakfast selection was in abundance but unfortunately the quality of the food was not great . Maybe less selection with better quality ingredients would be an option for improvement , but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for a short stay. "

"It really is an extraordinary place. Amazing building, high ceilings. Elegant, top service. My wife loved it and we rather thought it was worth the money in spite of a couple minor points. The bath/shower knob did not engage fully to shower mode, so the water ran heavy through the tub spout during showers. But the pressure was still good at the shower. This was complicated by slow drains (both in the shower and also the sink). We stayed 3 nights but no repair was forthcoming (hard to get a plumber I guess). The shower was in the tub which is a tight squeeze. These places use an old dungeon key for room entry...no security risk I think, but it would be nice to upgrade to electronic card access? We booked understanding that there was air conditioning but there was none, or not functioning...consulted staff. The weather was temperate so not a problem but, travelling through Italy can be sticky and we like to dry out at the end of the day. Even with all this, the place is extraordinary and it was a fine place for the money. Also I wanted to get some laundry done as we travelled for weeks, but thee seemed no way to get it done. The pool is nice but in this season alot of flies were in the pool. The staff and service and food are top notch. The place is on a road that has the usual Italian motorbikes zipping up the road. But at night it is quiet. Beautiful property gardens. There was no shuttle to town, but the buses stop right at the property. We drove."

"This is our third time in Palazzo Ravizza since we discover this true Tuscan gem in the old town Siena. We're been visiting Siena since little children but now, all our Tucany tours once a year are about Palazzo Ravizza and that gorgeous building with the past charm of true "albergo". They keep the building in great condition with up to date amenities. Not to metion that from many rooms overlooking the giardino majes u feel in the middle of a book or a movie like "A room with a view". What a view. Siena is breathtaking, Even if u keep coming back there's always one corner , one top of building you discover yet again. Trust me, I' ve been an Architect for over 40 years from a Architects family! But the giardino, with that carefree charm of Renasaince Italian gardens but still enjoyable today is mesmerizing. There is no better place in the World, and I travel the World, to be by yourself in silence, with a glass of wine or a sketch book and some pencils just drawing that sitting under the leaves wathing the sunset and the turning colours of Tuscan hills and trees. A superb staff (all women as it's was at it's begenning many years ago) makes it hard to leave every time. Our home away from home, room.25 and a last sight of Duomo shining at night. Volveríamo. Its location is central, reservations were made for us , the interior is stunning and plush , all staff we encountered were attentive , courteous and efficient. We love a little luxury at times and this did not disappoint . We will definitely be back !! "

"The location is in the middle of several key locations accessible by car or bus, is clean, and very nice. We enjoyed an outstanding but quite expensive dinner in the hotel restaurant. The staff were helpful and the free breakfast was welcome and decent. "
