"After four previous visits to Livigno, this was the worst accomodation we have experienced there. On arriving at the apartment we realised there was only a curtain in the bathroom which stopped short of the window sill by about a 6". When sat on the toilet, the people in the hotel next door could wave to you as you pondered. "In due coppie abbiamo passato 7 giorni in questo fantastico chalet, arredato con gusto e ben tenuto. Calda ed accogliente la struttura si sviluppa su due piani (salotto con divano letto, cucina e bagno al piano terra e due camere, ognuna con il proprio bagno, al piano superiore) più il garage molto comodo con l’accesso diretto dentro allo chalet. Il centro di Livigno è facilmente raggiungibile in 15/20 minuti a piedi."

"The apartment is located in an old hotel but the location & condition of the very large apartment was very good. Driving to all the villages in the Engandine was a beautiful experience. The location is excellent & many restaurants are available within 5 miles ."

"Lot of construction on the way up the hill to the hotel. GPS got confused gping on the goat path, the only way we could get there. We new it would be somewhat isolated so we brought a few food items because the kitchen was advertised. Olny one pot. No frying pan. Very poorly equipped compaired to the advertisement and what we expected. A breakfas was offeted for a ridiculous price. We had hope to make our own. We got stuck on the ground floor with no view. "Overall, the stay was great. It’s a beautiful hotel with well kept facilities. The pool and spa are great. The breakfast is wonderful! We had only one complaint: the shuttle to the train station. Upon check out we were asked if we wanted to use it and said yes. It was scheduled to leave 10 minutes later and no one showed up to drive the van. We waited about 15 minutes after it was scheduled to leave and no one ever came. It was at checkout time so the lobby was very busy and we didn’t have time to stand in line to talk to someone at the service desk. We missed the train we originally planned for, took the bus to the station, and it delayed our return trip to Milan. It was a frustrating experience. Overall, the stay was lovely but that was a sour note to end on. "

"The hotel is a short ride from the train station. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Very nice restaurant just downstairs from the room. Breakfast included a wide selection of pastries, fruits, cereals, juices and other beverages. We were surprised that the "balcony" faced another building across a narrow alley. Bed was firm (which we like) but the pillows, although large, were way to soft. Despite these items, we would definitely stay here again. "

"I had a fabulous stay at the hotel. Every staff member went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and the hotel was spotless, welcoming and very homely. The food and drink quality at breakfast, room service and when having drinks in the library was exceptional. I cannot wait to be back and a big thank you to the whole team for making this such a wonderful stay. "
