"Spent three days on Skopelos Island traveling alone. I stayed in Glossa at the Aegean Wave Hotel and loved everything about it. I enjoy the exceptional service provided by the owners of the hotel. My room and the restaurant had breathtaking views of the sea, glossa village, and other islands. It’s not directly in Glossa, but you’ll need a car or motorbike to get around the island anyway. "You do not expect luxury for the price but our room was very different to the light and cheerful rooms advertised online - we booked a studio room which was dark and gloomy, had harsh artificial lights, a broken bed (which was fixed during the stay), and a very tired and old bathroom. The shower curtain did not allow you to shower without flooding the whole bathroom. Wifi was slow and patchy.
