"We really looked forward to staying here but our stay was absolutely ruined by smokers next door. We paid extra for a harbour view which was lovely but we could not open the window or sit on the shared balcony because our room was next to a smoking room and the guests there exercised their right to smoke. When we mentioned this in the morning the customer service was appalling with the receptionist shrugging her shoulders and asking what she could do. Well; for one thing not have a smoking room...

"Very much unstaffed at weekends and evenings. We had an administrative problem while checking in (we were told the wrong key safe), which whilst fixed was only an issue because the hotel is not staffed. We also only recieved a single pillow and duvet for two of us, but didn't try and resolve it as there wer no staff to talk to and we'd already had to ring once to check in. It was clean and well located for the port. Parking was good, and the bus route goes past, but does not stop outside. "

"Great location. Loved our stay but will book a bigger room next time. Also hope to have a room with a view. The room had no view, only of walls and windows. Great breakfast and nothing was too much trouble, food replenished instantly when running low. The staff are all very professional and courteous. The only downside for me was the lack of vegetarian options on the restaurant menu. Will definitely book again. "

"Best hotel ever!! I’ll never forget the breakfast buffet. Mind blowing and overflowing with options. Can and will gladly accommodate any food restriction. Service very friendly and kind. Generous with information and will research to answer all questions. It is a shuttle stop for many activities outside the city and a walking distance from restaurants and areas of interest. Would highly recommend and would love to return!"
