"Perfectly located right on the marina. A simple breakfast was included- eggs, bacon, breads, granola and yogurt and cheese. Beautiful setting to have breakfast. Super nice staff and very helpful to direct us to little swimming coves or walks. The hotel itself is a little dated, like staying at your granny’s … flowery carpet and mahogany furniture… but the rooms were immaculately clean… little fridge/mini bar and room to make tea/coffee… just ask reception for milk 😉 we’re irish it’s a must. But all hotels in this area are dated… but it wasn’t tired looking. Shower was great and shower cap and shower gel provided etc. overall a great choice- but note we had no balcony or no beautiful view from our room. To upgrade it would have been €150 more an night and we couldn’t justify it as it was expensive anyway- the whole area can be. "

Only 2 negatives, too many Americans (including ourselves) and the driveway up to the hotel is very steep and if you wish to walk to town it’s a good climb (easy once at bottom of property. They should golf cart guests up and down but most will just taxi"

"Wow! I had a view to the water and it was unbelievable. The balcony was huge and I could enjoy the sunset seeing all the boats. The wifi was so good for all my work video calls. The staff was so nice, I could go swimming at the pool while I waited for my room. Food was great. Location is perfect. It’s about a 20 min walk from train station. I am definitely staying here again"

"For the location it is a good value hotel but as people have mentioned before it must have been a very prestigious hotel but now it’s showing a lot of signs of wear and tear.On the plus side,very large bedroom."

"My husband and I were very happy with theBristol. Beautiful building, entry way and the room was gorgeous. The hotel is on the main street. Great location lots of shops, cafes. It is a bit noisy if you open the window. The AC works great. There are elevators. Super friendly staff everyone speaks English too. the room shower is small so you get water everywhere when you shower !!And can be slippery too. Not too far from the Genoa airport. I would stay here again."
