"The hotel is a bit old. It's great if you're looking to stay in a property with a historical aspect. Check-in was troubling. I don't recall on the Hotel's description here on Expedia or on their own website that the deposit was $400 up front. I stayed for 6 days so that should have been around $170. "Nice spacious room and to our surpirise it had a jacuzzi tub! The front desk service was very good and we were given an early checkin and late check out. The Dirty Habit restaurant service was good in the mornings but the continental breakfast (free w/ voucher) could use an update. "The front desk clerk went out of his way to put us in a room as far from the cacophony of noise from the hotel strikers across the street. It was one of the smaller rooms, but very little noise could be heard. This is one of our favorite boutique hotels in San Francisco. It is located near the Powell Street station, Union Square, the Moscone Center and numerous dining options."
