"The property was clean and spacious and well priced for the area, but would have benefitted from a map on booking as it had no signage and was difficult to find and as an apartment had no staff in the building. Also no tea or coffee, which could have been made clear on booking"

"We’re staying here twice this trip. The day we arrive by plane and the night from Venice before we rent the car to go north. It is a good place for this transition. Nice beds. Curtains that block the light. Easy to find. Great staff. A few blocks from the Mestre airport bus stop & train station. Just what we need."

"We really loved our stay at Antico Portego and we wish we had stayed longer! The room 'Venere' was very clean and large with a great bathroom and shower. "The location was great. It was a three minute walk from the train station. Every staff we encountered was wonderful and helpful. The breakfast was also included with our price. Shower was nice, and the water was hot the tea I like but of course you can adjust the temperature of the water. We stayed close to the train station so that we can depart early in the morning. Walk to San Marco square about 30 minutes and a lot of shops on the way. If you don’t want to walk there is the water taxi that is 9.50 Euros to go to San Marco Square. "

"Perfect for Biennale visitors! I was so happy with the location. The staff were kind and full of good advice. My room had a balcony which was so lovely. The bed was comfortable. If you want an authentic experience, this is the place. I did not do the hotel breakfast so I have no opinion regarding the food. "
