"We arrived by train which was less than ideal as it is up a steep hill. Best to come by car. Having arrived there it was an ideal retreat and handy for a visit to the Bastion Bridge. Also has great views over Saxony Switzerland."

It never happened so far. You think you paid online but you have to pay again to check out. Parking and breakfast are included. Unfortunately, I didn't try sauna. It was off."

"Great location for innumerable hikes and all kinds of biking. Amazing food, simple but spacious room. No toiletries except for a bar soap. Bathroom tiny but sufficient. A kettle to make coffee/tea would be nice. If driving, go via Hinterhelmsdorf and do not follow google maps as those lead through almost impassable backroads. "

"Big property with lots of little courtyards to sit privately, outside areas with very comfortable armchairs, beautiful terrace for lunch and dinner. Just 3 min walk to the Elbe park with playground, stop for boats and ferries, 2 min walk to the bus, 8 min to the train… the perfect spot to explore the Saxony Switzerland area by foot, bike…"

"This was an excellent break from exploring big cities, and exactly what our family of five needed. Lutz and his wife were spectacular hosts, and worked to always ensure we had a relaxing time. From helping with access to the national park to a glass to go with our bottle of wine - always helpful. It was also remarkably affordable. We rented a 6 bed room which never felt small or cramped. Our neighbors were always fun and interesting, including the fun and well behaved dogs. Swimming in...

"Pension ist sehr ruhig gelegen und ein gter Ausgangspunkt für viele Wanderungen. Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten durch eigenen kostenlosen Parkplatz. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich . An den knarzenden Holzboden muss man sich gewöhnen und leider muss man das Wasser lang laufen lassen, bis es warm wird. "
