"Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. "We needed a room for four of us to get some sleep before getting out on the slopes the next day. Starlight Inn was perfectly located along our drive. The owners were lovely, seems to be a family owned business. The room was comfortable, clean, and nostalgic. Would stay again! "

"Stayed from Friday to Sunday to ski at Mount Snow and Okemo. Very nice reception staff (they offered a refund when I had to cancel a night) and the rooms were clean and comfortable. While it was not a luxury stay, for $100 a night, it was an amazing deal, and I would highly recommend. The only issue is the walls could be slightly thicker"
