"From other reviews I was expecting a slightly run down hotel but was impressed and thought it had not lost any of it’s charm from when it first opened in the 1930s. Lovely grandeur, refreshing nice pool in a convenient location between the old medina and more modern part of the town. We took the airport bus and walked about 15-20mins to the hotel. Staff were all polite and let us check in 30mins early. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel."

"We stayed 2 nights here. It was excellent, in a great location, quietly tucked away behind the main alley through the Medina. We knew that being close to the mosque we would be hearing the call to prayer in the middle of the night, but that was OK as we were expecting it. The rooftop terrace was a pleasant place to sit and for breakfast. The staff were all lovely. "

"Each staff member we encountered was kind and helpful. We really felt cared for during our stay at Lina. Also, our room was sparkling clean, and the view from our private terrace was lovely. The room service button on the phone would dial but the line would always be busy. Same with the front desk button on the phone. It would dial but the line would be busy. Took the elevator down from the 12th floor to ask at the front desk for room service. They apologized profusely and then gave me the 3 digit number to call room...
