Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse. "A beautiful, quiet and charming guest room in the loveliest of setting. Not far from Albi about 1.5km from the main road, down a rural side road, Hameau de Taur is a wonderful place to stay. Even though communication was difficult because our French is not good and our hostess had no English we had a most pleasant stay. Breakfast was included and was easily the best breakfast we have had in France, crepes, coffee, juice and apple tart. Highly recommend you stay here if you are passing through...

"Very clean, which we liked, but oddly, there was mold on the ceiling of the shower! the cleaning person needs to look up. Easy to clear up! Otherwise, very nice decor, comfortable room, good location to go into Albi and to get back on the road. Good value. Looking forward to the breakfast!"
