"Stayed for one night so that we could see Pompeii. Very early to get the Metro and then carry on to Pompeii from the main train station. The host contacted us the evening before to check arrival time and even kindly allowed us to leave our big bag at the property whilst we went off to explore. Would absolutely stay here again if we return to Naples. The bed was comfortable, the area quite, and some highly rated eateries just a short walk away. "

"There was no Internet connection during our stay in apartment. In addition cellphones do not work inside apartment because of weak signal. When you need to make a phone call you go outside. "We had just come off a Rick Steves tour of Venice, Florence and Rome and took an express train south to Naples and treated ourselves to a seaview deluxe room at the Royal Continental and the view was fabulous, the room comfy and clean and the staff gracious and accomodating. There is a busy waterfront promenade but take a room at least 3 stories above and it wont be too noisy and once you close the balcony doors it is quiet. Love this treat of a hotel! So many trattorias, cafes and ristorantes...
