"The room was clean and tidy, there was everything we needed in the room. Only downside was there were roadworks directly in front of the room at the time of the visit (they stopped by 8.00pm so didn't affect us too much)and due to general traffic noise it would have been hard to sleep in if we hadn't needed to get up early. "

"Good location and limited on site parking, but street parking was good. Staff were exceptional, a pity they have sold out and are moving on. Breakfast is basic cereal, toast and coffee but there is kitchen availability with fridge and dish washer if you wish to use it. WiFi was poor in front room but great in the dinning area towards the rear of the house. Overall basic but well run, we would stay with the hosts again."

"A beautifully renovated old building, with the perfect mixture of timeless classic architecture and modern amenities. Loved the original elevator, was quite charming, and faster than some modern elevators we’ve used. The rooms were tastefully decorated with a modern bathroom. Being on the top floor was amazing, as we had views of the ocean and port, right from the bed. The quaint restaurant was warm and inviting with its exposed brick walls. Service was top notch."
