"The Seljord hotel is a charming well maintained hotel in Telemark County, Norway. Breakfasts were excellent - full hot breakfast buffet. Dinners have pizza and a very small selection of typical Norwegian dishes. Note that the hotel elevator only goes to the 2nd floor - if you get a 3rd floor room you will be hefting luggage up and down one set of stairs. Bar service is available from 3PM and prices are very reasonable (for Norway). Our 2nd floor room had a spacious balcony. As most hotels in Norway, air conditioning is accomplished by opening the windows."

"Wonderful location and surroundings. Quiet and peaceful. Room was great, comfy beds and had a good night's sleep. Good parking (we were on a motorbike and parked directly out the front of the building). Evening meal was excellent. Breakfast was also superb - lots of choice and really good quality. Only stayed for one night as we were passing through, but would have been happy to stay longer. Staff all friendly and welcoming. "
