"Self catering studio not ready on arrival but that turned out to be a blessing as had a couple of nights sleep in substitute hotel. When Sole Belo was 'ready' it wasn't the accommodation booked. Day later transferred to self-catering but that was awful. No air-con and the fans supplied just circulated hot air. Impossible to cook or sleep. "Stayed over following an event based at the hotel. Lovely friendly hotel, amazing food served buffet style for the evening event. Our stay was marred by the extremely bad mannered bar man we've ever come across. What kind of enjoyment he receives from making a clearly disabled man wait to be served, while he serves others just walking up to the bar, is hard to figure out. "Double bed only appeared to have single bedding which was loose and became rucked during the night. No kettle in the room for tea or coffee making, but there was a useful fridge for cooling bottles of water. It would have been nice to sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee in the mornings before going down to breakfast. Swimming pool closed for maintenance on last two days.
