"Self catering studio not ready on arrival but that turned out to be a blessing as had a couple of nights sleep in substitute hotel. When Sole Belo was 'ready' it wasn't the accommodation booked. Day later transferred to self-catering but that was awful. No air-con and the fans supplied just circulated hot air. Impossible to cook or sleep. "For one of the cheapest hotels in the area I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised. The views from the balcony and pool area are stunning , the pool is lovely , the bar is traditional Spanish and excellent. People says rooms are dated and they are but I don’t like everything looking like ikea , this hotel has character and bags of charm. So nice we booked 2 extra nights , don’t let the negative reviews put you off. Excellent hotel and super clean. "

"Double bed only appeared to have single bedding which was loose and became rucked during the night. No kettle in the room for tea or coffee making, but there was a useful fridge for cooling bottles of water. It would have been nice to sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee in the mornings before going down to breakfast. Swimming pool closed for maintenance on last two days. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were more than adequate, with cereal, pastries, a variety of cold meats...
