"Excellent location, walking distance to best restaurants in Trastevere. Property has a courtyard, nice for lunch. The food here was also delicious. The Lasagneta and carbonara stood out. Would like to mention the staff Marina and the blond girl from Ukraine provided outstanding customer service, and made our stay even better! This property is a hidden gem, and brrakfast was also 👌 excellent."

"The hotel santa maria, 5 stars is not enough for how great the place is. Right in the heart of the Trastevere area but provides a tranquil and quiet retreat until you are ready to venture out. The courtyard is lovely, and the staff are really helpful. This is a stay we will treasure and will definitely go back to the next time in Rome."

"Exceptional location, price and service. Upon arrival, the front desk was overly friendly and helpful; very much appreciated when traveling in a new country and city. The hotel is beyond charming with a courtyard and wood beam ceilings. The breakfast was as expected with delicious pastries and the option to eat in the breakfast room or in the courtyard under the Olive tree. Location is steps from the plaza with multiple restaurants and bars, however, with that comes noise late into the evening."

"This small family ran hotel is in a great location for the evening and the main attractions. Clean and well presented. Not much sound proofing but as there is only a few rooms wasnt really am issue. Loved the stay. Thank you!"
