"Difficult to find, as only the name of the adjacent hotel, San Ruffino Resort, appears on the sign at the shared driveway. Room decor is in serious need of an upgrade (weird 70’s vibe and a lot of dangling wires) and the kitchenette and bathroom are rudimentary. Landscaping is dreary. Breakfast was basic and seemed like most items came from a supermarket. Helpful and friendly staff and the San Ruffino rResort pool (which Il Poggia guests can use) was pleasant, as were the grounds of the Resort."

"We had a bit of an issue getting into the property. Locals helped with calling the owner. Not sure what we would have done otherwise! Stairs to our shower area and balcony were not for anyone physically challenged. Very clean, comfortable mattress, darling small town, and lovely breakfast provided."

"Great hotel. Really good welcome and very informative. Nice and quiet. Our room was good and I loved the decor, I think the only minor thing was no air conditioning but not a big problem. Would recommend. "
