The hotel is a beautiful and tranquil oasis of calm in the heart of Valletta, my wife and I stayed in room 43 which was just amazing and well appointed with one of the best beds we have ever slept in and had a dual aspect window with the room having both a bath and walking shower. The hotel is a mix of restored original features and modern touches which works so well. Finally to the staff who we have to say are some of the most attentive and professional we have had the pleasure of staying with in all our travels. From us both a very heart felt thank you to the whole staff at the hotel, who made our stay just so amazing. The whole team are so lovely, friendly and helpful and made our stay so wonderful, a special thank you to Maria, guest relations manager who booked us a beautiful restaurant to celebrate our stay and was so helpful throughout our stay especially including pushing our check out tine back due to our late flight home to back to the UK We loved it so much we are only just back home and already looking at booking it again for next Autumn and obviously staying in room 43.

Where to start? Not only was it beautiful, with great staff, close to everything, in the perfect spot for EVERYTHING, but it was also perfect too. The staff were more than that, from Maria to Chani(hope I got it right, forgive me if I didn’t) and MORE, all of them made it the best experience for myself and my family. We loved every minute, woke up excited and ready for more every day and only went to bed because we were staying in a home of homes and got and needed rest and recharge every single night! I would only not recommend, because I’m selfish and I want them all to ourselves! Honestly the best stay I’ve ever had and will definitely try to have again!

From the time you arrived and met by the friendly staff. They helped you with places to eat and visit and helped with the transportation. How could you not feel relaxed and cared about.

This hotel is one of the finest I have ever stayed in in 45 years of extensive travelling for both business and leisure. The beautiful property, attitude and attention to detail of every staff member we encountered are absolutely top class. Domus Zamittello is a splendid hotel formed out of an historic Maltese noble palace. It is perfectly situated in the heart of Valletta, with easy walking to most of the city, including the Cathedral, art galleries, museums, shops, buses, ferry, The greatest attribute is the entire staff at this hotel because I found them to be always helpful, kind and cheerful. I enjoyed every day of the 14 day holiday at such a marvellous hotel,

The Domus Zamittello is an exceptional hotel. Everything is just right from the quality of the hotel itself, the location and the people who work there. Each and every one of their staff all work extremely hard to make their guests stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We had a lovely stay at Domus Zamittello. The hotel is gorgeous with historical features as we like it (amazing terrasse!). It is extremely well located, right in the main street of Valletta. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is very good.

The hotel is charming and has been a family business for hundreds of years. The staff goes above and beyond excellence. I asked if they would get me a cab for the next morning’s 5 am flight. Not only did they, but also the chef made me a sandwich and the night clerk rolled my luggage several blocks to meet the cab

Fantastic hotel, definitely worth the money for the service you get from the staff. Each morning at breakfast, the Manager, or a staff member assist you on ideas to do that day! Our room was upgraded to a room with 2 bathrooms & the bedroom upstairs (may not be good for people with mobility issues) TV had a good amount of English shows. Situated in the heart of Valletta. Bottle of wine was a nice touch - oh also rooftop terrace was great, especially if there’s a concert next door to eavesdrop on

Very charming 21 room boutique hotel in an historical building. The location just inside the City Gate was easy walking distance to all the sites. The room and amenities were up to date, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Special mention to Maria who not only called a taxi but walked us and our luggage in the rain to the meeting spot outside the pedestrian area. If you want a personalized, small hotel experience in the old part of the city, I highly recommend Domus Zamittello.
