This lovely hotel on the Grand Canal, looks like something out of The Secret Garden. It has its own private pier! The breakfast is lovely, spectacular coffee and croissants. Our room was incredible large and beautiful, with a sitting area, two large closets, and a roomy bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The room was enormous by European standards. We found the lighting was finicky, especially in the bathroom. It was difficult for my husband to shave, and for me to apply makeup. Our one recommendation would be a safety mat in the tub/shower. It is a step-in tub and very high. The bottom was slippery so we kept a small towel in there. Staff was gracious and always ready to help!

Ca' Nigra Lagoon Resort is a lovely old hotel. The building is over 150 years old. It is well positioned for the main train station in Venice - 5 minutes walk. The rear garden overlooks the Grand Canal. Everything is within walking distance from this hotel. The staff were very friendly and offered loads of tips about where to visit during our 2 day stay. The room was clean and spacious and served its purpose. I would definitely recommend.

Estuve hace unos días en el Ca' Nigra Lagoon Resort y me encantó el hotel. El servicio siempre atentos a cada detalle y muy serviciales. La habitación cumplió completamente con mis estándares, cómoda y bien cuidada. La ubicación es excelente, cerca de la estación de tren y varias atracciones, además es muy fácil de llegar si vienes en taxi acuático. Uno de los puntos más destacados es el hermoso jardín con vistas al canal, un lugar perfecto para relajarse y disfrutar del entorno veneciano. Sin duda, una estancia que recomiendo.

The property was well maintained and the staff was always friendly and courteous. We stayed in the junior suite overlooking the canal and it was perfect except for the bed. The bed needs to be replaced. One of the most important features of the room should be the comfort level of the bed. If the bed was replaced or in better condition, I would have given this property a 5. Other than the bed issue, the breakfast was great and the property was immaculate both inside and out. The location is conveniently located next to the main bridge that connects a large shopping district and also the train station.

In a word: FANTASTIC! Staff, facility, location, view, garden, comfortable beds. Really couldn't have been better! Reception was lovely - I am so very sorry I don't remember their names, but they were both welcoming, helpful and kind. Definitely plan to return.

What an amazing experience, such a beautiful oasis in the middle of the hectic peak tourist season in Venice. Wonderful staff, beautiful room, cannot recommend this property enough. Simply amazing. Ca'Nigra is located further away from the crowds with easy access to the water bus to explore the city. Additionally it is a 3 min walk to the closest supermarket and there is an amazing coffee shop right across the bridge. The garden is beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed hanging there before dinner to have a drink and enjoy watching the boats and people.

A perfect stay in Venice
This property has a magical location on the Grand Canal - a few steps away from the railway station and Vaporetto stop. My room had direct access to the rear patio and was a great spot to enjoy a relaxing glass of wine in the evening in beautiful surroundings. In addition you have access to the amazing terrace overlooking the canal. My room was a good size with a great bathroom and large shower. The bed was great! Staff were friendly and always keen to help and make sure your stay was special. Highly recommended for your perfect stay in Venice.

We enjoyed our stay! It was a nice and spacious room. It was walkable and easy to get to from the train station. They were also able to accommodate an early check-in and held our bags after check-out. Very good service and staff!
