Very spacious room, great breakfast and located between Rialto and San Marco Square. Perfect for families. My only complaint was the A/C unit was not working in the second bedroom.

El lugar es lejano para poder llegar caminando, sugiero indiquen cómo llegar tomando el transporte desde estación Santa Lucía, es más fácil llegar en vaporetto, el hotel es bastante antiguo y parece un laberinto pero está limpio

We stayed here for one night only (thankfully). They put us in room 98 between the check in desk and the breakfast buffet. At about 7am the kitchen staff started moving chairs, talking loudly and klanking dishes around. Also, on check in they advised us that they could store our luggage behind the des while we roamed the city but in the morning when we asked, the front deak advised us to simply put them in a corner in the public dining area unsupervised. Instead we had to go drop 15 Euro for luggage storage around the corner. I'm glad we only stayed one night here. I would have left otherwise. On the brightside, the bathroom was quite large and we had hot water :-)

This was a little gem! It was so cozy and lovely! Heads up not an easy trek with your carryon if you walk from the station. Take transit to it. This was a my favorite stay from the trip!

We were looking for the whole Venice experience. Albergó San Zulian offers just that. We had such a great time exploring all of Venice and nearby islands. Our rooms were nice and clean every time we returned to the Hotel. The staff were friendly and acknowledged us when you were on the premises. Out of the three different hotels we stayed this last trip, Hotel San Zulian offered the biggest bathrooms.

Would not stay here again. It was a very nice location, easy to get around, and very central to sights. However, our room smelled like the sewer was being pumped into the room. It was absolutely terrible. The bed was decent size but you could feel every spring in the mattress and the pillows were so flat. They don’t have extra pillows, any type of air freshener, and they don’t really care. I’m not sure if it was clean or not because the smell just made everything seem filthy. There were also little baby ants so try to keep your stuff off the ground… wouldn’t recommend staying here. Sorry.

STAY AWAY. Room 304 an attic room, where you get the elevator to a second floor, have to climb one round of stairs up (with 4 50lbs bags) and after my door climb another round of stairs up to the attic. Not a single worker offered to help with bags. The room had NO AC. Per staff AC units in Venice do not cool but only have fan so they recommended I open a window to cool my room. Anyone could walk over roofs and enter my room through the open window, not safe. A few minutes later my room was infested with mosquitoes. By 5 am I packed all my bags and left. The shower was full of hair from prior guests. The towels smelled like pure vinegar. Bedding also had prior guests’ hair. The hallways and carpets had a putrid, indescribable foul smell. Furthermore, this place has no baggage storage. When I walked in I asked the lady at the front desk if my bags were safe in the middle of a doorless hallway and she said yes they are safe we have camaras. I mentioned to her anyone could still take it and she said it would be caught in camara but that was not her responsibility. My bags sat in a hallway until check in time with no safety at all. I’m sure the front desk lady assigned me the attic room since I mentioned to her my bags were not safe and cámaras would not prevent anyone from stealing my bags. Expedia, remove this location from your site. There is NO AC and the place is falling apart. To think I paid $300 for one night here made me sick to my stomach. Not worth a dime.

Very nice place in the middle of Venice. Be aware that it's kind of a maze to get there from the port. There's no taxis or car on the streets of Venice which means that you have to walk all the time anyway. Restaurants are by the dozens, shopping is everywhere. Have fun because this hotel is in the middle of everything.

For staff, one gentleman was very pleasant, the rest were so-so. Location was unbeatable! The room was VERY hot, even with lower temperatures. Our room was INFESTED with mosquitos. No other guests had bites like our family, children suffered hundreds of bites on their faces and arms. I would caution guests to check room before check-in. Again, the mosquitos were horrible, but nowhere else in Venice did we even see on mosquito except in out rooms. We bought bug spray and bit medicine, but were useless against the amount of bites we suffered.
