"The location cannot be beat! It’s perfectly located on the beach in between the Royal Hawaiian and the Moana Surfrider hotels. The beach access is fantastic, pool, outdoor showers, laundry, and proximity to things like Target, shopping and restaurants can’t be beaten. For parents with teens - this is a great place to stay when you’re not doing a VRBO which is what we typically do. We are a family of four and now we travel with four adult sized humans. That means everyone needs a bed, and having more space is necessary. Our room at the Outrigger was great. We had two full beds and then a couch that pulled out into a bed. A little tight for mom and dad, but manageable (and my husband is 6’2”). There were two closets, one was a walk in closet in the bathroom and was big enough to store all of our suitcases out of the way. These two things were game changers! The only two things that weren’t *awesome* were the noise from the nightclubs down the block (but the hotel DID tell us they were getting new windows/sliding doors this year!) and the rate for parking which was $60/night and more expensive than the car rental itself! I do think the hotel should consider lowering this as it’s a bit ridiculous, especially when our family members who are local told us other hotels charge closer to $35-45/night and told us where to park nearby for free. I think it would have encouraged us to have the car longer had the parking been more reasonably priced. "

"We had a great stay at the Wayfinder Hotel Waikiki! The design and vibe of the hotel are super cool — very stylish and laid-back, with a boutique feel that stands out in Waikiki. The room was very clean, the beds comfy, and the decor had a fun, tropical charm. The pool area was a highlight. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the location is convenient: close enough to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping, but just far enough from the busiest areas to feel a bit more peaceful :) "
