Loved staying at the Train Station hotel. very clean and spacious rooms. Would highly recommend staying. Very convenient for travel to London with the train station opposite.

Very good Hotel with excellent staff, we had room 6 which was really nice except outside at 8am in the morning it became a noisy building site. The workers obviously hated the job in hand and wanted us to do the same. This was in no way the fault of the Hotel in fact the Hotel Manager told us that she had complained on several occasions previously to observe times and at least start at 9am. We would still happily stay there again but would ask to be accommodated in the main building if possible. The Hotel should be asking for a reduction in their business rates until this job has been completed as it is impacting on their business.

This hotel was wonderful. The pub attached was perfect and the food was delicious! All staff was very helpful and friendly. I am a wheelchair user and booked a disability room. It was PERFECT! I highly recommend this hotel.

The Railway Hotel was quirky and the beds very comfortable. The hotel has had a major refurbishment since we stayed last and the room we stayed in was very comfortable and spotless. The noise from the downstairs bar was bearable and didnt go in too late. All staff were very helpful for our needs. The breakfast was good but thete is no discount on this which was our main meal of the daybut you cant have everything. Highly recommended and we will stay again.
