"Hotel has obviously come a long way, rooms and reception looks great, hallways and bar need a recarpet which is coming and scaffolding on front will come down. Will be a great hotel as soon as it's finished, great staff, really helpful. Car park is small but there's free parking opposite overnight and you can move your car in the morning it's fine. Would recommend "

"Just what we needed for our visit to Millom. We had an issue in the morning as had no water, but it was fixed as soon as we reported it. "

"We checked in to this beautiful old inn, and were greeted by owner Johnathan, we were shown to our room and told if we needed anything just ask. Being the winter the kitchen is closed Monday and Tuesday which Johnathan apologised for, we replied it’s absoulutly fine. He told us of the local Chinese just up the road and said please feel free to bring it back to our room to eat, which we did. Excellent Chinese takeaway. We slept like logs and woke to have full breakfast that Jonathan cooked which...

"Very easy access to seafront and town. 3 mins from train station that could take you to other coastal and inland towns or as far away as Manchester and beyond. Breakfast good as was bar menu. Never tried dinning or the pool."

"The property is great and well maintained. The reception service allocated a very tiny room of just a double bed for 3 of us so that experience was not great. But then later a room service attendant Rain got me a bigger room allocated so thanks to her. "

"Excellent hotel. Staff very accommodating. Bedrooms beautiful and clean. Bathroom spacious. We had a lakeside room and the view was lovely. Pool and spa area lovely too, with excellent changing rooms. Gardens well kept, with plenty of seats to have an afternoon drink or just an hour relaxing and reading. Cannot recommend enough. Will definately consider on our next trip to the lakes. "
