"The Hotel is a wonderfully panoramic location overlooking the lake. It’s a great location in a grand historic building. I am not a fan that charges for parking. Just add it into the rate! You can only check in at 4pm (although we managed at 3.30pm). I have traveled all this planet and this is the latest l have experienced in 35 years. "We (me and 3 kids) had a wonderful stay and are looking at returning. Great value for money. The pool was a highlight and we used it daily. We were also allowed to use the pool on our day of departure after checking out. Take your own towels to avoid £££ for renting them. "

"Lovely hotel we stayed in the family room with a balcony. Very spacious and clean. Loved the location of being outside of the town so it was quiet but a 2minute walk to everything. The breakfast was lovely, especially the eggs Benedict. Parking was free and had a space for every room. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back."

"The staff were extremely helpful and very accommodating. The breakfast was excellent and it was particularly nice to have it delivered to the suite. The only issue was the shower over the bath was a bit challenging. However our original suite had a walk in shower but the two flights of stairs were to challenging for my husband who walks with a crutch. If I had booked directly with the hotel I could have discussed our requirements with them. However the staff did everything they could to help."
