"We stayed as a family. The hotel is superior in many aspects. The staff and service is outstanding. The rooms are incredible large. Also details like very fast internet without any issues to connect ( no annoying mail address or phon number ) or the need to put your room card into a slot for electricity. Free ice cream automat and two great Onsen area's and many other aspects will keep this hotel in our memories for sure."

Yes, like some other reviews said, it was a bit dated but honestly I’m totally ok with that as it keeps the tradition alive. There were tatami floors throughout the ryokan. You are provided a yukata to go to the various onsens. It’s a smaller ryokan with perhaps around 21 rooms or so and that really keeps things intimate. The staff were so friendly and kind.
