"Really enjoy our two night break. Room was spacious and very clean. Giant comfortable bed. Amazing views of the countryside from the patio with seating and table provided. Nice and quiet too. Breakfast is amazing and very high quality. Best orange juice I've had and top quality fresh fruit with granola. The owners are very welcoming. Will definitely stay again. "

"Amazing! We were initially put in Room 3 which we found a little disappointing for what we had paid. We asked for Room 5 (our very favourite room) and we were delighted to change rooms (although slightly confused why we hadn’t been offered that one first?). "We loved the hotel as it was in a remote area, away from the hussle and bustle of city life- it was like stepping back in time. The views from the hotel are amazing Hotel was clean, the staff were welcoming and very accomadatinhg, and went out their way to help you. "This hotel is fabulous. The staff were friendly and the room was very comfortable. The only drawback was the water pressure in the shower but I’m used to a very powerful shower at home. "Fantastic hotel! We would definitely stay here again. The staff were lovely, and the food was excellent. Our room was warm and comfortable with everything we needed - a few cobwebs and a dusty vase lost them a star on cleanliness. Overall though, we loved it and would highly recommend! "

"Our stay was fine. My other half became cold during the night. I had to switch the fridge off as it was noisey and we could hear road noise in the morning. The engineered oak floor requires attention. All minor issues and overall our stay was fine."

"Lovely stay. The staff was great! Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely. Would recommend this hotel if touring Derbyshire area. "
