"Beautifully decorated and absolutely clean. The breakfast was good. The only fault that I can point out would be that the coffee was very weak and not at all plentiful. No milk or cream was offered. Our host was quite pleasant if not engaging. "

"No dinner service because it was a weekend. Came down for breakfast around 7:30-8:00 and every table had dirty dishes on it, while staff were just hanging out at the front desk. I had to bus a table myself then scramble around looking for clean dishes to eat on. Noticed staff pointing at me and talking about me rather than helping me. Worst service I had my entire 3 week trip to 3 countries."

"Beautiful homely hotel. Bedroom very quiet and clean. Tranquil and pretty surroundings with good places to walk. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Continental breakfast was nice and not rushed (which was great when we overslept). Good sized pool for swimming and decent sun loungers for relaxing. Great facilities to make your own dinner if you decide to stay in - Castres is circa 10-15 minute drive - with a small boutique to stock up on essentials like like wine and home produced honey! "Two of us stayed one night, staff were friendly and rooms comfortable. Quite rural location with ample parking, they even locked our motorbikes in a garage for the night. Breakfast was very basic but adequate. Didn’t have dinner but looked like a busy popular restaurant. Made an excellent stopover."

"What an amazing stay. Christope and Patrick were so warm and kind. Hugo the dog is absolutely beautiful and also a wonderful host - The best boi ever. They have renovated the château beautifully. Everything is perfection - they have wonderful taste. They have thought of so many little touches to make your stay absolutely wonderful. The food there is top notch, and great drinks list that is well priced. I can not wait to go back. Do yourself a favour and book it. "
