"We had two rooms - 221, which was updated, nicely furnished, and comfortable deck furniture. Bathroom and kitchen had also been renovated. Room 222 on the other have was very outdated, no decorations on walls, uncomfortable plastic furniture. The bathroom had a low grade sewer smell and the toilet water regurgitated a yellow-brown color backwash. The restaurant and bar were excellent. Lexie was terrific. "

"I am a medical doctor of Jamaican origin who eagerly planned this vacation for a medical conference. The resort grounds were well manicured, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, all staff tended to defer to White guests over Black guests, although Black guests may have been first in line. Overall, a good experience."

"So here’s the thing: This place probably used to be majestic, and the more people that stay there, the better I assume it will get, from the revenue generated. "We loved our two-room partial ocean-view villa. Clean, quiet and not too far from the pool. "The property is an old castle and this is the only reason for the 4. Just so people know. The section that has been renovated is a good 5. The room was excellent, the view was really nice, people really nice. The one restaurant has excellent food. The pool and view really nice.
