"Very safe secluded area directly across from Mistico hanging bridges. Room was better than expected and great free breakfast at lost iguana only a small drive away. "So it’s not easy to drive here. Somehow Waze took us on a gravel road for miles it wasn’t easy to drive. So just make sure you get directions on the pave road. It’s beautiful and serenity kicks in. The manager is extremely nice and his dog is the best! "

"i hope people use this hotel as it appears to be a mum and her daughter making a go of it - and though quirky it is an ok experience. What is a problem is - its in the middle of nowhere and expedia sent me the wrong name. You told me it was called (unusually )HOTEL IN FRONT OF LAKE ARENAL. And it was 15 miles from LA FORTUNA. After driving 45 minutes a kindly restaurant owner called the lady and gave me directions. I would still be looking now - its called LAKE 2 and even that is poorly signed....
