"Property is beautiful. A little far from the shopping and other activity areas and limited activities in the hotel. Great if you're looking to relax and rest. Hang by the pool. Food on site was great but only one dining option."

"Rooms were basic but very clean suited us just fine. The bed was horribly hard and uncomfortable; we have stayed at many Caribbean hotels and know not to expect super comfy beds but this one I think was hardest and most uncomfortable. Staff were very sweet and accommodating. The private beach area was very nice with use of chairs and umbrella. Nice location near the strip for many food options!"

"The hotel is next to Port Zante and all the tourists stores for the cruise ships. Good downtown location. Two minute walk to the Ram's large grocery store. My room was large and all the rooms come with a mini kitchen. It was stocked with dishes, glasses, pans, knives, silverware, electric stove, large fridge. The AC is in the ceiling, quiet, and it kept the room cold. My room faced the main street, Bay Road. But, with the windows closed it was quiet. I think it's the best downtown Basseterre...

"Alex & Annie were very professional, courteous, kind and helpful during my 7-day stay at this lovely boutique hotel. "The Golden Rock is a beautiful, low intensity hotel complex, with exceptional gardens. It offers something quite different than other hotels in Nevis. "Mount Nevis hotel is set in a beautiful location overlooking St Kitts and the channel between Nevis and St. Kitts. The staff is excellent and friendly and accommodating. The rooms have a beautiful view and are clean. There are some things that can use an update, the sliders don’t slide easily and a lose tile on the patio here or there. That said we would go back in a heartbeat "

"We really enjoyed our time here! Rooms were nice, loved the balcony/porches, beautiful view of the water, chairs available on the beach, nice bar/restaurant!! I would say not much is walkable, maybe a couple restaurants and water taxi dock are walkable, other restaurants, beaches, etc require transportation. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back!"

"The Villa was gigantic. If you don't rent a car or want to pay for taxis you are stuck there. You needed a key to get out of your room- you are locked in( I was nervous about fire) The pool wasn't cleaned daily. The ocean was magnificent!!! Careful when Cruise ships arrive - the passengers came to the beach on excursions and could use the umbrellas and chairs. "
