"A terrific modern option in an area of Florida not known for upscale accommodations, dining or shopping. Far superior to other options in the area. In-room kitchens and layout would make this a great option for families or extended stays. Great little market in lobby and fantastic breakfasts. "

"We didn’t get the house we originally paid for, the house stunk , had a spiral staircase, one of the doors didn’t lock, the bedrooms only had a lamp, also the electrical outlets were a little scary. The downstairs bathroom did not have a doorknob.We stayed here only because this was the second time of a rental company switching houses on us in this area. Not a pleasant experience during Christmas break."

"I loved this property! We went to the cabins to celebrate my birthday. We knew ahead of time that the cabin we rented did not have AC, however, I called the owner to let her know our ETA, and we found out the cabin with the AC (runs on a generator) was available, and she was so accommodating and allowed us to stay in the comfort cabin instead. "While the Motel was clean and comfortable, I had difficulty with the parking situation. Spots are reserved with numbered cones for your room. There is a restaurant next to the motel and the reserved spots were being used by people at the restaurant. Having a super duty truck with a long bed makes parking difficult on a good day. I did look at Google map images prior to booking but when I arrived, I knew that I was going to have issues due to size of truck. I asked for a refund and was told...

"The grounds are currently under construction. We are very sad about the upcoming changes and sale of the grounds. The Port is a very affordable, unassuming property. We absolutely LOVE it. We have came here for years. All of the rooms have water views. We wish the old owners the best but are so very disappointed. "
