"We didn’t get the house we originally paid for, the house stunk , had a spiral staircase, one of the doors didn’t lock, the bedrooms only had a lamp, also the electrical outlets were a little scary. The downstairs bathroom did not have a doorknob.We stayed here only because this was the second time of a rental company switching houses on us in this area. Not a pleasant experience during Christmas break."

"We were pleasantly surprised at the amenities in our room. Microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer and seating area with super reading lights. 1st class breakfast. Beds and pillows were so comfy we didn’t want to get up."

"I loved this property! We went to the cabins to celebrate my birthday. We knew ahead of time that the cabin we rented did not have AC, however, I called the owner to let her know our ETA, and we found out the cabin with the AC (runs on a generator) was available, and she was so accommodating and allowed us to stay in the comfort cabin instead. "We had a room right on the water and saw a beautiful sunset. There is a wonderful restaurant and Tiki bar next door to the hotel. Unfortunately, the Marriott has bought the property and it is currently under construction. In another year or so, the original hotel (where Elvis stayed during filming of a movie) will be gone. Overall, would stay again even if it is a Marriott!"

"Paddle tale Inn was immaculate, appeared to have had a recent upgrade. The staff was friendly and polite. Large room and the cleanest I have ever seen.
