"The location of the property and the view is incredible. Unfortunately, the cost of the room does not align with what you actually get…you get an outdated room with a torn headboard, poorly cleaned furniture and curtains with dirty carpet and a room with spiders and other insects crawling around. What a waste of a potentially beautiful and historic hotel."

"Stayed in a heated tent and it was perfect. I brought extra blankets and sleeping bags as I was unsure of how cold it would be. It was in the 30s at night(outside) and actually ended up too hot in the tent and turned the heater down. Registration staff was super friendly, shuttles worked out great for coming back from firefall. There were plenty of trails around the area to keep us busy. Also enjoyed the added security of staff checking our tent at night to make sure we were registered guests."

"the hotel locate in the forest, near the main street, with good parking. Very good option to stay for visiting Yosemite if you don't like stay in the national park. The room is simple but clean and i like this style."

"Really nice property, rooms are really nice, been remodeled and fixed up nice since the last time I was there. Only issue was two big tour buses took up all the parking spaces in right in front of the rooms, so had to park across the other side of the lot from my room "

"A great place to stay for a few days while visiting Yosemite. We stayed for just one night and really enjoyed it. The area is picturesque nestled just outside the national park. There are a few food and drink options on site but I would suggest visiting a whole foods or supermarket nearby to get something for dinner. Breakfast options are available from the lobby however."

"We spent one night at the 5th Street Inn in Mariposa. The inn is a renovated historic home from all appearances. The bed was comfortable but the table was tiny and the chairs in the room were very hard. Avoid this property if you can't tolerate that or navigate steps up and down. The shower was functional but showed signs of damage to the faucet handle and a bit of mold.
