"By the time they finished phoning their friends to find us a room elsewhere it was late and we had to pay their friends road more. They said they were booked out since 3 days before and that they don't use ebookers. There were still 2 rooms available at their hotel on ebookers that evening."

She said she did not deal with ebookers and certainly not had emails from them regarding a booking. The hotel was not currently open.
