"Great hotel in Monte Gordo, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful town with amazing beach and very close to the Spanish border. Staff were grand, we had a very good buffet breakfast, main items to choose from. Very close to beach and shops. If needed there is a 2 1/2 mile walk to the border town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio along a straight road but the beach walk is glorious although twice the distance. Beach is just fantastic. "A great all inclusive hotel with plenty of activities. This resort is especially great for golfers as you have 2 great courses at your doorstep. There is only the buffet option for food, however the food was great and they even had a street food dinner on Wednesday which was a very pleasant surprise."

"I liked that the staff spoke English Spanish and Portuguese. We chose this property because we wanted to use the Spa. This feature is in their name. The Spa was closed during the time we were at the hotel. Very disappointing. :-("
