"This amazing colonial house, carefully decorated , dpacious rooms and bathrooms, a wonderful swimming pool overlooking the ocean, with a tropical garden and, most importsnt, adorable owners who do everything to make the stay even more enjoyable. I couldn't imagine a better place for staying in Bahia."

"This hotel is a big resort with 186 rooms and has all the amenities you would expect of a big resort. Its well suited for families but is not the place for couples who are seeking rest and relaxation unless of course you are fine with lots of small children running around. Our experience was however good since the hotel property is large enough to escape the hordes of small children running around. "

"Nice place with easy access to the main drag of the town, 15 min hike to the beach. Cleaning staff did a great job on the room, but maybe some age/wear & tear and climate had some issues they couldn't fix. Breakfast was typical, but the did prep your breakfast eggs specially for you via standing order, which was nice. Charged for the waters in the minifridge. Wish it had just been empty so we could stock our own rather than being surprised. Internet and AC both worked, both were vital....

Set in the surprisingly beautiful and vibrant town of Arraial d'Ajuda, it was a perfect break from the hectic travel across Brazil. "

"We were cheated as property offered did not match what we bought. We tented for 6 days a DELUXE SUITE FACING THE SEA and we got a simple room full of mold, flooded and with bathroom broken. A total shame and robbery. You get charged as it were a 4 star hotel inyernational hotel and get a room impossible to live in."

Pros: fantastic location, right in the end of Mucuge street, the place to visit at night (restaurants, shops, bars, live music, nightlife in general); fantastic view, don't know if it can get any better than this; pool is great to relax, and again, with that view; food is good, but not top notch; room is nice with the expected amenities (AC, refrigerator, safe box, flat screen); price is good in comparison to similar places. Cons: service is a bit on the slow side, but not bad;...

"Mar paraíso is a great hotel. On the beach, nice pool, very good breakfast with a variety of pastries, fruits, breads and juices. The bed was comfortable and the shower was really good with a lot of water pressure. The highlight of our stay was the massage done by Gleiza. The best massage ever. She is very professional and knowledgeable. I was impressed. Schedule a massage with her and you won’t regret. "
