"Very cosy and warm, steep steps up to room and parking a few minutes walk away. A wonderful view to wake up to overlooking the river Medway. No breakfast inc and it’s not clear reading the other reviews, I think it’s overpriced without breakfast. We enjoyed our stay but I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately. If you are a light sleeper noisy traffic in the background also. The host was friendly. "

"From the moment i got there i was made to feel welcome, its a lovely old building with tons of character, even down to little mice painted on the skirting boards. The chef went above and beyond to accommodate meals and even came out to chat to understand what i wanted. I will certainly be staying there again and would recommend to anyone. Phil (Shropshire)"

"Friendly staff nice hotel but felt very dated and room was cleaned but not very well. Beds comfortable but sheets didn’t feel that fresh all though appeared clean. Nice to have pool and hot tub was great, but pool area feel like it needed a good clean. Breakfast was ok, hot food was just sitting out though for hours and a few vegan options besides tinned tomato and beans would have been nice."
