"We spent 3 nights in the Garden City hotel on a visit to Canberra. It is well out of town for anything within walking distance but a 10-15 minute drive will get you anywhere you want to go. The hotel is well priced compared to others close to the CBD. The room was clean, the bed was big and firm and the shower was the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. The pressure available was tremendous. We did not have breakfast there, preferring to find a café a few minutes away so I cannot comment on...

"I think the "Pending" deposit should be cancelled as soon as possible following checkout. Some other places, it's returned within an hour of leaving. 4 hours after checkout and it's still listed as "Pending" in my account. If it's taken immediately on checkin, it can't be that difficult to cancel once the room is checked."

"Very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend getting the breakfast included with room option. Would definitely stay again if I was in Canberra. "
